Licensed & insured in MD · Real warranties
Halo Water Proofing is a MD-licensed Wet Basement Repair company that treats every Pomfret job like it's the only one on the schedule.
Every Pomfret technician we send is background-checked and trained on the exact equipment we install — not a subcontractor picked up for the day.
We've worked on foundations from decades-old Pomfret homes to brand-new builds still settling into their soil, so whatever your basement is dealing with, we've likely seen a version of it nearby.
Talk to a real Pomfret technician today, not an automated queue. We'll explain what's going on and get you scheduled.
📞 +1-866-476-1348Most Pomfret calls didn't start with a flood — they started with one of these small signs weeks or months earlier.
Odor is often the very first clue Pomfret homeowners notice, well before any water is visible.
Small cracks in a Pomfret foundation rarely stay small — seasonal ground movement tends to widen them over time.
Efflorescence is a reliable early sign that water is moving through your Pomfret foundation wall right now.
If your pump only shuts off for a few minutes at a time, it's worth having it checked before it fails outright.
This is one sign we tell Pomfret customers never to wait on — wall movement tends to progress, not resolve on its own.
Peeling paint near the floor upstairs is one of the last signs Pomfret homeowners connect to a basement problem.
From a 2 a.m. sump pump failure to a planned exterior drainage project, here's what our Pomfret crews handle most.
A flooded Pomfret basement doesn't wait for morning, and neither do we. Our crews pull the standing water and start drying the space the same visit.
Get Emergency Help →Not every crack means a structural problem, but every crack deserves a real look. We'll tell you which kind yours is.
Ask About Crack Repair →Most Pomfret pump failures happen during the exact storms that need them most, which is exactly why battery backup matters.
Book a Pump Check →Some Pomfret properties need both systems working together — we'll say so honestly instead of selling just one.
Talk Drainage Options →Musty smell upstairs with no obvious source? Check the crawl space first — it's usually the culprit.
Get a Crawl Space Quote →We handle below-grade waterproofing for Pomfret property managers and business owners, scheduled around your operating hours to limit disruption.
Request a Commercial Quote →No pressure, no scripts — just what actually happens once you call +1-866-476-1348.
A real technician asks the right questions to understand what's likely happening at your Pomfret property before anyone drives out.
A Pomfret technician walks the property, checks the foundation and drainage, and explains what's found in plain language.
Every Pomfret quote is written before work starts, not estimated verbally and adjusted later.
Our crew completes the repair, cleans up, and walks you through the warranty on what was installed.
Plenty of companies advertise Wet Basement Repair in Pomfret — here's what actually separates the ones worth calling from the ones that aren't.
There's no verbal quote that grows once the crew shows up — the written estimate is final.
We're not routing your call through a national center — the person who answers is close by.
Warranty terms are explained in plain language before you sign, with no fine-print surprises later.
We'd rather earn a repeat Pomfret customer with an honest fix than push a system you don't need.
We can supply the documentation most carriers ask for before approving a Pomfret claim.
Word of mouth is still how most Pomfret customers find us, which keeps our standards high.
"Called during a storm and had a tech at my door within two hours. Explained everything before touching anything — basement's been dry since."
"Got three quotes for a crack repair. This was the only company that actually explained why the crack was happening instead of just naming a price."
"Our sump pump died during the worst storm of the year, obviously. Battery backup was installed the next day and we haven't worried since."
"Straightforward commercial quote, professional crew, no back and forth."
"French drain install took two days exactly as quoted, and the yard looked better than before."
"Insurance claim was stressful until they stepped in with photos and a written scope. Approved within a week."
"Crew was respectful of our landscaping during the drain install and left the yard looking better than before they started."
If a covered repair doesn't hold up, we come back and make it right — no arguing, no extra invoice. That's written into every Pomfret contract we sign.
